Three years after losing his film The Dying of Light to studio interference, Paul Schrader has found a wild, unprecedented workaround to make the movie closer to his intentions; Literally assembled out of fragments ripped from the mangled theatrical cut, and transformed into a kind of post-modern collage, "Dark" is a more aptly named film that focuses on CIA agent Evan Lake's last mission as he slowly begins to lose his mind.
