Synopsis

The movie gives Batman a reimagining in terms of how he approaches some of the problems in Gotham. It also puts a suitably horrific spin on Batman's allies and enemies, emphasizing the "dark" part of the Dark Knight. While not all the changes to the original comic's story are for the best, this largely faithful adaptation delivers plenty of unsettling horror, well-done action scenes, and detective-driven twists.
