You can expect plenty of battles, bloodshed, and fur and leather costumes. Although it has similarities to The Last Kingdom, this show is a more politically complex version of Outlaw King or a low-budget Braveheart.
As someone who enjoyed The Last Kingdom, I found Seven Kings Must Die to be a fitting end to the series. However, the show may not be as accessible to newcomers.
