Synopsis
Ruthless siblings Roderick and Madeline Usher have built Fortunato Pharmaceuticals into an empire of wealth, privilege and power. But past secrets come to light when the heirs to the Usher dynasty start dying at the hands of a mysterious woman from their youth.

A gothic horror, from one of my favorite filmmakers, especially in the horror genre. Some of his famous films/series, if you know Midnight Mass, Oculus, Ouija, The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor. Just like his other brilliant films, this movie builds curiosity, a sense of dread, and fear, thanks to its character development, which, although slow, is tense. You get to experience the emotions and traumas they go through, enhanced by the sense of place. The focus isn't on ghosts or demons but more on each of these corrupt characters and their dark secrets, which ultimately tear this family apart.
