Synopsis
Struggling to find his place at Oxford University, student Oliver Quick finds himself drawn into the world of the charming and aristocratic Felix Catton, who invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family's sprawling estate, for a summer never to be forgotten.

This! This is how you captivate viewers and then trick them with an astonishing... well... other part of the movie. I would say it's either a hit or miss, and depending on your readiness to be amused or disgusted, you will either like it or not. Or both. I picture this movie as a grotesque drama of bare hearts. Personally, I couldn't find any hint of black comedy, contrary to what some other reviews suggest.
Oxford, the mansion, and the fall. The first part takes place in the gorgeous setting of Oxford, where the wealthy, handsome student Felix (Jacob Elordi) and the clever yet sociopathic Oliver (Barry Keoghan) first meet. The second act might give you strong "Great Gatsby" vibes as the plot unfolds in Felix's family mansion. This is also where Rosamund Pike sparks the movie with her performance. And then comes the fall — total despair, chaotic twists, diminishing logic, and the creepy transformation of characters. By that point, I was so engrossed in the Oliver-Felix mesmerizing affection that the final part caught me by surprise.
There are a few bizarre scenes in the movie, and the final shot is where Barry Keoghan truly plays with perfection. I advise you to watch this movie alone the first time.

At first I thought the ending kinda seemed like a cliche sell out. After watching this movie again, I grew to appreciate the plot and ending as it was a true twist.

It was gross, it was weird, it was creepy in a stalker kinda way. Really well done uncomfortable shots, weird but believable plot.

A weird film... Very weird, disgusting, uncomfortable and even sickening at certain times.. But there are so many moments where I could have guessed the killer! This film was so good with a sick plot twist!
