I had started listening to the soundtrack before watching the movie, but I only had the chance to watch it until now. Even though it is not in the horror category, it was one of the best horror movies I have ever watched. It was shot very well and it is obvious that it was well thought out.

I love it when movies make you cry and tremble. And that’s the case. Destroying aesthetics of the frame, the actors and the stunning soundtrack make this film special among others. “Requiem for a dream” is about choosing to live or die. After watching you act like your feelings are dead, but no, you’re alive as never before

Didn't enjoy this as much as I thought I will because of all the high ratings. The plot was really mediocre, the first half was really tough to pass cause it was really boring. The aesthetics are beautiful, but the characters are really one dynamic. If the characters were not this much one dynamic and didn't only care about drugs then it would be emotionally impactful. But that wasn't the case.
This thing will be only good for some kind of campaign against drugs usage, cause it does paint a really grim picture of getting addicted to drugs. Apart from that this as a movie is pretty bland.
