"Monsters, Inc." is one of those movies that just brings back so many good memories. I used to watch it all the time with my nephew when he was little, and even now, it still holds up. The animation is timeless, and the characters (Sully and Mike) are just as funny and lovable as I remember. The whole concept of monsters working to scare kids, only to realize that laughter is more powerful, is so clever and heartwarming. What I love most about this movie is how it perfectly balances humor with emotion. There are scenes that genuinely make you laugh out loud, and others that hit you right in the feels, especially with Boo and her relationship with Sully. If you grew up watching this, it’s impossible not to get a bit nostalgic. Sure, it’s a family movie, but there’s something in it for everyone, no matter your age. Every time I rewatch it, it feels like catching up with an old friend.

I could justify myself that I watch cartoons because I have kids blah blah blah. However, I watched this great, kind, bright and funny animation about 20 times long before I had my own “monsters”.
