Synopsis

Journalist Rachel Keller investigates a strange videotape that may be behind the untimely deaths of four teenagers. There is an urban legend about this tape: the viewer will die seven days after watching it. Rachel tracks down the video... and watches it. Now she has just seven days to unravel the mystery of the Ring in order to save herself and her son.

I knew it was a famous series and I watched it on the recommendation of a friend, the first movie was not terrible at all. The plot is very good, but it's really just a thriller. The only scene I was afraid of was the centipede walking out of the book. Unlike other movies, the 1st movie of this series is less scary than the others, in my opinion. But it is a very high quality series, of course you won't regret it if you watch it.
