Synopsis
Abandoned by her father, a young woman named Maren embarks on a thousand-mile odyssey through the backroads of America where she meets Lee, a disenfranchised drifter. But despite their best efforts, all roads lead back to their terrifying pasts and to a final stand that will determine whether their love can survive their otherness.

Typical romantic story with the only difference being cannibals. Lots of bullshit during the course of the cinematic narration (especially smelling the cannibals and therefore recognizing each other, but not only) and typical adolescent behaviors that are not bearable. It could have been a film with potential, but Luca Guadagnino has done nothing but butt together meaningless symbolism. To summarize this film: a cacophonous work. The scene of the little girl at the cinema is also clearly inspired by the same scene that takes place in "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso" by Giuseppe Tornatore. Bad vision.
