Smugglers

In a peaceful seaside village on Jeju Island, a group of traditional female divers lose their means of subsistence overnight due to a chemical factory. Looking for a new way to make a living, Chun-ja decides to put her skills to make her way in the world of smuggling, earning a lot of money by collecting shipments thrown into the sea. She eventually offers the leader of the female divers, Jin-suk, to join her, and despite being aware of the risks involved, Jin-suk agrees to meet the smuggling kingpin, Kwon. One day, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to strike it rich presents itself.
