Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Synopsis
Percy Jackson is on a dangerous quest. Outrunning monsters and outwitting gods, he must journey across America to return Zeus' master bolt and stop an all-out war. With the help of his quest mates Annabeth and Grover, Percy's journey will lead him closer to the answers he seeks: how to fit into a world where he feels out of place, and find out who he's destined to be.

Squid
This series was nothing like the books and certainly nothing like the movie. It’s almost like Rick Rordan makes a new plot with the same characters every time he does an adaption of this shit. That being said, the acting in the first episode sucked ass, although it did get better throughout the series. The plot had a lot of holes in it that Rick thought he would get away with I’m assuming because everyone pretty much knows the story of Percy Jackson so he didn’t bother to make the show flow seamlessly. That or they didn’t have enough time since all of the main characters are 12 and age visually quicker then an older cast. I was violently upset about how much it wasn’t like the book at first but as the show went on I kinda pushed that feeling aside, until the ending when I was violently upset about how anti-climatic and incorrect the ending was in accordance to the other Percy Jackson media. I would 100% recommend the movie over the series since the story lines seem a bit questionable and I would recommend the book over both visual media forms. I think the casting was also done pretty poorly. Almost none of the characters match the description in the book other then Grover, which Rick defended as the cast being the most like the characters personality, but I defiantly don’t think that’s reflected in the characters, especially the older ones who play the gods.
Now with all this criticism in mind, I did watch the whole series twice and I will be watching the new seasons if they come out with more so do with that what you will.
