Synopsis

Spencer is a classy movie. Everything is very beautiful and careful. Impeccable art direction, beautiful costumes, well-kept photography. Kristen Stewart, in fact, is in her best career role so far. The film, while delicate in its aesthetic, is tense from beginning to end. At the same time that we feel out of place, together with Diana in that place, we enter her mind and we can see how sick she was getting in that family. Above all, it is a film about psychological abuse as well as mental health. Holding a movie with so many close-ups is not for just any acting, and Kristen manages to do that very well. Your Diana is always distressed, out of place. The feeling that passes is that she feels like crying all the time, but she needs to contain herself and maintain her pose.
