It took some time to write this review as immediately after watching the movie I thought that it was kinda ok, nothing special. But after giving it a second thought I realized that House of Gucci was just another waste of time. I wasn’t excited about the acting of any actor participating. This story could be a perfect portrayal of the fashion dynasty’s crush, full of fashion statements and haute couture, yet the movie was poorly directed for my taste. Seems that Ridley Scott wasn’t quite interested in Gucci as a brand, he wasn’t bothering showing the heritage of Gucci family and the history of the family’s rise, which later has lead to fall. It was just another story about rich and poor, nothing related to the story of a great brand

The film is quite interesting and Gaga is not as bad as many say. But slightly tight.
The fact that there is not a single family member left in the GUCCI company is normal. And this is often useful for business.

Casa Gucci is an average movie by an uninspired Ridley Scott. Lady Gaga is the soul of the film, so much so that when she disappears from the screen we remember how mediocre the film is. Jared Leto weighed a hand with a character who aimed for comic relief and hit someone else's shame.

What freak parade was this? Hahahaha. Mommy monster carries this film on her back, the biggest mistake (among so many) for me was precisely during a long stretch of history to take Patrizia out of focus. One of Ridley Scott's worst directing jobs, his biggest crime is making me feel ashamed even of Al Pacino. And someone revokes Jared Leto's DRT, this man has embarrassed me enough throughout his career. I felt a bit of a soap opera grip on the script, so I was entertained even ashamed.

But what anticlimactic ending was that? It completely emptied what everyone thought would be the main part of the narrative 🤡 displaced, resolved in a hurry, then we realize how mediocre the development was (unforgivable in a film that makes you spend almost 3 hours of life).
Anyway, these 2.5 stars are just for you Gaga! Impossible to imagine another person on paper. I deserved a better movie!
