Synopsis

When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, Carol's powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol's estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe.

This movie had a very fun concept. I enjoyed the action sequences & the CGI was great compared to other MCU movies that have released recently. Ms Marvel (Iman) absolutely stole the show. I was a big fan of her solo show on Disney+ & seeing her on the big screen as well as on a movie budget was such a treat. I will say, the singing planet was not for me. I despise musicals so the fact that the movie became a musical for like 5 - 10 minutes out of nowhere… not sure what that was about. I did like it in the sense of universe building. The planet had a good story and great atmosphere. I just didn’t like the singing. It was cool overall, but not for me. It is always nice to visit new planets in the MCU. I don’t think this one will be very important in the long run, but maybe that’s for the best. 3 stars because it was entertaining. I removed a star for the cringe jokes at times, singing planet & the lack of emotional connection to the villain. Plot seemed rushed when it came to the villain’s back story.

It's a good movie, above average. I liked the story and action scenes. What was missing was that there were very few action scenes. Still, it's a good movie.
