Synopsis

A cheerful parking attendant considers it his job to do more than validate parking. He wants to validate the customers themselves, delivering compliments about their appearances and the inner qualities behind them. Everyone who comes up to him with a ticket walks away validated as a worthwhile human being. Soon, the parking attendant becomes so popular that people line up for validation...

One of my favorite short films. The symbolism of the movie is extraordinary. The use of black and white has a meaning, black representing as sadness and white as happiness. This two have to work together, fight for each other so you get to decide which side you will choose to take. This short film also shows how we can influence others positively and negatively. We can turn the same person to turn the same people from happiness to sadness or viceversa. So everyone counts.
