Disenchantment: Adventures of a Drunk Princess, a Half-Elf, and a Demon Disenchantment is one of the most underrated animated series out there. I was initially skeptical, partly due to the mixed reviews and the fact that I wasn’t the biggest Simpsons fan growing up. The connection to its creators didn’t make it seem all that appealing to me—but I was so wrong. This show quickly climbed into my top 10, maybe even top 5 favorites. One of the first things that hooked me was how, within just five minutes, the series pulls a move similar to Shrek by flipping the standard image of a lead character on its head. The princess here isn’t what you’d expect, and that twist is just the beginning. I fell in love with the characters and their individual stories. The secondary characters are far from dull; sometimes, they’re even more entertaining than the lead. A special shoutout to a certain pig and mermaid!

It was winding but I stopped watching the last season, after a while it felt like a loop, it became a classic, but the first seasons are winding
