A breakthrough in understanding Batman. A solid plot, characteristic characters and absorbing atmosphere. And most importantly, the realism pleases, which is finally added to the superhero movie. It's also much easier to empathize with the characters.

Matt Reeves' Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, is quite engaging. In it, the Riddler (Paul Dano) is a mental psychopath, believing that Batman is always on his side to kill Gotham's corrupt officials. On the other hand, Selina (Catwoman) insists on wanting revenge for the death of her friend, violently caused by Carmine Falcone. In this turbulent context, Bruce Wayne's (Batman) psyche is severely tested, even more so with the hidden political side of his family being gradually revealed. Anyway, there is still much more to be explored in this saga, and the first film introduced the characters, Gotham, action scenes, and visuals in a triumphant way. The Penguin series, which I'm still watching, is also very good.

it was honestly so good i like the realism of the film and how it wasn’t this amazing over technological batcave and gadgets it was something an actual person could have and i think i made it stand out more plus the story is amazing the use of the riddler as the main villain is so good personally i belive he’s a very overlooked character and this shows he’s darker side which really made this film amazing

It was an enjoyable, yet kinda long, watch. However, The Dark Knight is still my go to for a Batman film.

Never thought I'd see Robert Pattinson, my childhood guy crush, as my favorite superhero. He was born for this role, I simply couldn't get enough of him. Saw this 3 times in the theatres and that's a first for me. Absolutely loved this masterpiece and the perfect Batman film after The Dark Knight.

It's just absurd how excellent this movie is for anyone who loves the hooded crusader. Matt Reeves literally took everything that went right in the bat's career and put it together in one movie. The futuristic Gothic Gotham of the games, the dilemmas between mission and heritage of the animations, the detective side so well worked on in the comics, apart from the dark and chaotic aesthetics à la Dark Knight. It's impressive.
