Assassinio sul Nilo è un giallo raffinato e affascinante.

Ritroviamo Kenneth Branagh nei panni di Hercule Poirot, sempre solido e carismatico, ma va detto che spicca moltissimo anche la protagonista, Gal Gadot, che porta sullo schermo un’eleganza e un fascino davvero magnetici.

Rispetto a Assassinio sull’Orient Express, forse sorprende un po’ meno, ma personalmente li trovo entrambi molto belli.
Questo capitolo è piacevole, elegante e coinvolgente, con un’atmosfera curata e una storia che funziona dall’inizio alla fine.
Non supera il primo, ma resta allo stesso livello, confermando un adattamento riuscito e coerente del mondo di Agatha Christie.

We return to Kenneth Branagh as Hercule Poirot, always solid and charismatic, but it must be said that the lead actress, Gal Gadot, also stands out, bringing a truly magnetic elegance and charm to the screen.

Compared to Murder on the Orient Express, it's perhaps a little less surprising, but personally, I find both very beautiful.
This installment is enjoyable, elegant, and engaging, with a carefully crafted atmosphere and a story that works from start to finish.
It doesn't surpass the first, but it's on the same level, confirming a successful and coherent adaptation of Agatha Christie's world.

Nice one, beautiful picture and CGI, but Branagh and Gadot were weak IMHO. I am always happy to see Poirot in movies, and definitely will go to watch new movies even by Branagh but his view of the greatest detective ever doesn't align with mine.
