Rashomon

Rashomon is a must-see classics. For the first time in cinema history, 1 case was told from the perspective of 4 witnesses. This is now called "Rashomon effect" and is used in modern movies. Rashomon is a philosophical movie with lots of methaphors. Despite being only 88 minutes long, it is slow paced and theatrical at times.

Rashomon may seem slow-paced and tedious at first, but as each character tells his own version of events the tension starts to increase. It makes you crave more information to put each piece of the story together. 
Not going to spoil the ending, but aftertaste is really good.

A remarkable film that brought international acclaim to Akira Kurosawa and Japanese cinema. It's not often that a movie is so good that it has an effect named after it. No CGI, 3D or green screens (just don't forget the subtitles!).

Больше театральная постановка, чем художественный фильм. Но конечно рекомендовано к просмотру как фильм давший имя термину, "эффект Расёмона".
 А так детективная история пытающиеся неуклюже претендовать на нечто большое.
В конце моменты с появлением "маленького героя" под лестницей должно считаться вершиной?

More a theatrical performance than a feature film. But of course it is recommended for watching as the film that gave its name to the term, "Rashomon effect".
 And so a detective story trying to awkwardly claim to be something big.
At the end, the moments with the appearance of the "little hero" under the stairs should be considered the top?
