The black-and-white cinematography adds a stark, haunting beauty to the film, with the occasional splash of color that hits you right in the gut.
This movie is tough to watch, no doubt, but it’s also incredibly moving and important. It reminds us of the depths of human cruelty, but also the incredible acts of kindness that can emerge even in the darkest of times. If it were able to give 6 stars on this scale, Schindler's List would be the only exception. Schindler's List is not just a story of one of the greatest atrocities human beings have ever committed – it is a story of learning, love, respect and humanity. Here, Liam Neeson played the role of his career, and did a splendid job.
For viewers who are shaken by something sensitive, avoid watching this artwork; but always remember that you will be missing one of the biggest and best movies man has ever produced.
