Synopsis
A card shark and his unwillingly-enlisted friends need to make a lot of cash quick after losing a sketchy poker match. To do this they decide to pull a heist on a small-time gang who happen to be operating out of the flat next door.

That's the only movie I could watch at any time, in any place, at every moment of my life.
Guy Ritchie has never created anything comparable to this masterpiece. Even Snatch, which gained a wide fanbase, isn't as sharp to me. The whole story, with its highly memorable characters set against the backdrop of London, creates an inexpressible feeling of fun and joy. And the dialogue makes this whole movie literally one big quote of itself! My favorite line is from Rory Breaker, "If the milk turns out to be sour, I ain't the kinda pussy to drink it."
My piece of advice for those who listen to the russian dubbing, go with Yurij Serbin's version. I think that was his peak performance as a dubbing actor. He crafted such entertaining and witty dialogue, it’s slightly different from the original, but perfectly aligned with the movie's overall flavor.
The cast was brilliant, everyone was in the right place. Although I'm not a fan of Vinnie Jones's film work, his portrayal of Big Chris is indispensable to the plot (as is every other character, for that matter). Jason Flemyng was outstanding as Fat Tom. It's funny that although he has made many movie appearances since then, he will always be "the guy from Lock, Stock..." to me.
It's been emotional.
