The Liar and His Lover
Synopsis
Kang Han-Kyeol is a great yet sullen composer who becomes inspired by the voices of others and keeps his identity secret from people. He meets Yoon So-Rim, a high school student who possesses beautiful singing, whilst under his secret identity, and she falls in love with him. Adaptation of the manga by Kotomi Aoki under the same name, which has been running since 2009.

This is a K-drama I had high expectations for. It just confirmed something I never expected to happen: I'm starting to dislike school dramas. I know, it's because of my age. I love the male lead... I've liked him since "Too Beautiful," and I liked the female lead at first because she was direct and didn't make a big deal out of misunderstandings. But later on, her character is clumsy. It really seems like she's playing both sides because she lets herself be hugged. She's stupid, and while her acting is good, her face doesn't convey anything. She always has the same angry and sleepy expression, which doesn't convince me. And finally, the story isn't very exciting; I find it repetitive and boring.
