Mi è piaciuto perché resta sulla stessa linea del primo, senza stravolgere il personaggio.
Qui però Robert McCall (Denzel) è ancora più umano: il rapporto con il ragazzino aggiunge una dimensione diversa, quasi paterna. Rende un pò il tutto più emotivo. Conoscendo un pò di più il personaggio.
Denzel Washington è sempre una sicurezza, con quella calma glaciale che rende ogni scena intensa.

In più c’è Pedro Pascal, che ti confonde le idee per buona parte del film: all’inizio sembra una presenza positiva, poi il plot twist cambia completamente le carte in tavola.

Detto questo, forse il primo mi è piaciuto di più, perché aveva l’effetto sorpresa: non ti aspettavi quel tipo di personaggio e quel tipo di film. Qui sai già cosa stai andando a vedere, quindi vai sul sicuro.

I liked it because it stays in the same vein as the first, without distorting the character.
Here, however, Robert McCall (Denzel) is even more human: his relationship with the boy adds a different, almost paternal dimension. It makes everything a little more emotional, knowing the character a little better.
Denzel Washington is always a sure thing, with that icy calm that makes every scene intense.

Plus, there's Pedro Pascal, who confuses you for much of the film: at first he seems like a positive presence, then the plot twist completely changes the game.

That said, perhaps I liked the first film better because it had the surprise effect: you weren't expecting that kind of character and that kind of film. Here, you already know what you're going to see, so you're playing it safe.
