Synopsis

Based on the books by Kass Morgan, this show takes place 100 years in the future, when the Earth has been abandoned due to radioactivity. The last surviving humans live on an ark orbiting the planet — but the ark won't last forever. So the repressive regime picks 100 expendable juvenile delinquents to send down to Earth to see if the planet is still habitable.

    I absolutely loved this show! I've always been a fan of the science fiction and action genre, so when you bring the two together, it makes for an outstanding and thrilling watch. What truly stood out about this show was the brilliantly executed suspense and unexpected plot twist. Several intense and action-packed scenes had me on the edge of my seat, filled with excitement as the show continued to unfold. Though the show has some very intense, mature, and emotional moments it also has some humorous dialogue that was consistently well delivered from each of the character's sense of humour that makes for constant great laughs. Throughout the show, we get to follow the journey and wild adventure the characters go through that helps us learn and go in-depth into their individual stories. From the very first episode, we began exploring each character's different background and story, and how their actions are driven by their different motives. Great show and I definitely recommend :)

    The show does a great job of building a believable and immersive post-apocalyptic world. Despite being a Sci-Fi TV shows, it tackles themes such as loss, love, and forgiveness. Overall, the main message is that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope and the possibility for redemption.
