Stand Up to Cancer is a ground-breaking television event scheduled to air on September 5, 2008 at 8pm EST and PST. This historic, nationally-televised program will broadcast live and commercial free on ABC, CBS and NBC - simultaneously. Some of the biggest names in entertainment (actors, musicians, athletes and journalists) will be on hand to raise money for the fight against cancer. Funds will help advance and accelerate cancer research, as well as bring new therapies to patients more quickly.
