Kick-Ass fez parte da época em que filmes de super-heróis não estavam tão na moda como atualmente. Seu tom mais adulto e ao mesmo tempo se aproximando do público adolescente faz com que seja difícil não se apegar ao estilo do filme. Os protagonistas são carismáticos e bem construídos; e as cenas de ação são excelentes.

Kick-Ass was part of the era when superhero movies weren't as popular as they are today. Its more adult tone and at the same time approaching the teen audience makes it difficult not to cling to the style of the film. The protagonists are charismatic and well built; and the action scenes are great.
