Synopsis
When Rudy Baylor, a young attorney with no clients, goes to work for a seedy ambulance chaser, he wants to help the parents of a terminally ill boy in their suit against an insurance company. But to take on corporate America, Rudy and a scrappy paralegal must open their own law firm.

I truly enjoyed this legal/courtroom drama with fantastic cast (young Matt Damon, Danny DeVito, Claire Danes, Mickey Rourke, Teresa Wright and many more). Despite covering serious and sad issues (frauds by insurance companies, terminal illnesses, domestic violence), this movie manages to be classy, heartwarming and satisfying. 90-s crime movies have a special charm and the Rainmaker is one of the most charming ones. It is quite slow-paced (yet engaging) and definitely overlong. Despite having a couple of intense scenes, this is not a thriller! So, some thriller lovers might be bored! I would definitely recommend this movie to lawyer/advocates, those working in insurance industry and 90-s movies fans :)
