🗓️ Seen over 20 times… and I still can't get enough!
This film is much more than just a comedy: it's a cult classic of French cinema. Every viewing is a pure pleasure, like reuniting with old friends you know by heart—and that's literally the case, since I know every line by heart!
Alain Chabat has achieved a feat: adapting a legendary comic book with humor, finesse, and modernity, while adding his own personal touch and the "Nuls" spirit. The dialogue has become legendary (special mention to Numérobis and his architectural struggles), the actors are top-notch (Jamel Debbouze, Gérard Darmon, Monica Bellucci, etc.), and the iconic scenes follow one after the other without ever tiring.
✨ What I like:
– The impeccable comic timing
– The pop culture references
– The unforgettable performances (Amonbofis' monologue, the "Where is the pantheon?" lines, etc.)
– The clever script, which combines faithfulness to the comics with original creations
This film is my cinematic comfort blanket: comforting, funny, and timeless. Even after the 20th time, I'm laughing, singing "Mission Cleopatra!" and responding to the lines out loud. 🐫🎭
