Почему то мы все смотрели фильм «Аватар» (я даже в кинотеатре) и надеюсь вряд ли будем его пересматривать, но фильм 1962 года попался чисто случайно. Хотя эта историческая личность была мне известна. Почему «Аватар»? сюжет схож, но там картинка, а здесь фильм – если не эпопея (3 часа 47 мин). Успокаиваю себя что все таки на такой сюжет не «картинка» была первая, а рассказ Майн Рида «Белый вождь», а то бы как бы сложилось мое мировоззрение еще не известно, ну говорил бы что «Аватар» шедевр» или «вы еще не посмотрели»?).
