Synopsis
Heroin addict Mark Renton stumbles through bad ideas and sobriety attempts with his unreliable friends --Sick Boy, Begbie, Spud and Tommy. He also has an underage girlfriend, Diane, along for the ride. After cleaning up and moving from Edinburgh to London, Mark finds he can't escape the life he left behind as Begbie and Sick Boy come knocking.

I love light movies with deep meaning. Trainspotting manages to cover extremely sad and tragic issues relating to drug addiction in a very truthful and witty way. I liked great acting, perfect texts, good music and of course the ultimate meaning of the movie. I cannot rate Trainspotting as 5 stars, since it features a number of extremely disgusting and creepy scenes I could not stand.
