The film "The Intouchables" (original title "Intouchables", known in Ukraine as "1+1") is not just a comedy-drama based on real events, but a deep study of human psychology, relationships and the influence of circumstances on personality. The film masterfully shows how two completely different people find a common language and help each other change.
The relationship between Philip and Drassen is a perfect example of psychological symbiosis, where each compensates for the shortcomings of the other and helps him develop.
This is a film about how true relationships have no boundaries and can become a powerful catalyst for personal growth and healing. It reminds us that the human spirit is able to overcome any trials if it finds support in another person.
The film is an adaptation of the autobiography of Philip Pozzo di Borgo, who died in 2023 at the age of 72. He was very pleased with the film and supported its creators.
The film became an unexpected international hit, grossing over $426 million worldwide on a budget of €10 million. It became the highest-grossing French film in cinema history outside France. The film was such a success that an American remake was released in 2017, titled The Upside, starring Bryan Cranston and Kevin Hart. Although it was well received, the original is still considered more authentic and emotional.

It has been a wonderful synthesis of different lives. In fact, no matter how different lives and cultures we have. Contrasting understanding and cultures can develop our missing parts.
However, there are scenes in which the script is incomplete.
