My Favourite movie, although some don’t like it due to it not being close enough to the book, as a stand alone movie it’s phenomenal. Kubrick was an amazing Director and Jack, Shelley, Scatman, Danny etc did an amazing job.

Stanley Kubrick's only Horror masterpiece. This is the one time I will say the movie is by far better than the book. Jack Nicholson at his best and an amazing performance by Shelley Duvall. Kubrick at his best.

The film is sensational I love many aspects of it, direction, acting, setting, soundtrack, they are perfect. The actors' acting is very good, the expressions they got were very real, and the feeling they give is really remarkable. The ambiance is very good, the hotel that is used shows very well the loneliness of the characters and it really is a maze on screen. The soundtrack is very good, it fits perfectly into the suspense of the film, which makes us feel a bit scared just seeing someone turn down the aisle. The direction is one of the best I've seen, the director was able to express the loneliness and emptiness of the characters in the hotel very well, he also knew how to use open angles very well to show the emptiness of the hotel. In the end it's a great movie, without a doubt one of the best I've watched
