This is a series that I loved from the very first moment: it brilliantly blends traditional Korean history with time travel to the modern era, creating a good and very captivating story.
I was surprised from the first episode by the way it combines romance, comedy, and emotional moments. The story maintains interest throughout thanks to its charismatic characters and the chemistry between the leads, which is magnificent and feels so natural and genuine. Every look and every confrontation between them has a lot of magic. I really liked how it manages to balance drama, humor, and tension without becoming tedious, which makes each episode entertaining and exciting. Furthermore, the production, the music, and the acting perfectly convey the emotions of each scene.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series because it made me laugh, feel emotional, and want to keep watching episode after episode. I loved how the characters evolved throughout the story and how the romance developed naturally. Without a doubt, it was one of my favorite series, and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys romantic stories with a touch of humor, drama, and unforgettable moments.
My favorite character was definitely Cha Se Gye 🥰 What a character! That way of falling in love is something we'll probably only see on screen and never in real life 😭. Seo Ri, as well as making me laugh a lot, also made me cry.
However, I feel they fell short with the secondary storylines. For example, the manager and the stepsister—I would have liked them to delve deeper into their relationship. I also would have liked to know more about Mo Tae-Hee; I didn't like her at first, but I think we misjudged her. Then there's the "friend" (Kwak Eun-A), a character who only hurt her, both in the past and the future, and they never explained why. The villain (Choi Mun-DO)—I think they wasted this character. He was so perfect that they could have added more backstory to him. The grandmother was a character who brought tenderness to the series, but I never really liked the grandfather in the end. Anyway, maybe if the series had been 16 episodes, like most series, they could have told us a little more about them.
Anyway, despite all that, I loved it 🥰
