Caligula: The Ultimate Cut

Using 96 hours of unseen footage, an "Ultimate Cut" was created, discarding every frame of the theatrical version. Historian Thomas Negovan oversaw the project, which features enhanced visuals, AI-restored dialogue, and a new score. Delayed by legal issues and Covid, it premiered at Cannes 2023, earning praise from McDowell and Mirren.
