Mathis movie could have been something if it was executed differently. The vibes were there for some parts but just atrociously lacking in others. The generational thing was weird and the time jumps between past and present where totally distracting and took away from the story. Also the time travel thing at the end was so random?? I don’t like the animation style that much either, in some parts the main character just looks…wrong? Idk, I liked the scared of everything and the drawing thing and I feel that could have been a good story premise if the extra time jumping shit wasn’t added in.
