Synopsis
Washed-up revolutionary Bob exists in a state of stoned paranoia, surviving off-grid with his spirited, self-reliant daughter, Willa. When his evil nemesis resurfaces after 16 years and she goes missing, the former radical scrambles to find her, father and daughter both battling the consequences of his past.

Each character is focused on their social environment, and I liked that all the actors played their roles well, but the one who stood out the most was Sean Penn; he stole the show. I think I laughed the most watching his performance; it felt like a tragicomedy.
Now, Leonardo DiCaprio also did well, as did Benicio, and the entire cast.
There are several scenes in the film that are subliminal, especially the ending with the chase scene, and the incredible soundtrack completes the picture.
